The self-framing walls, roofs, and ceilings are designed to be formed in such a way that they make up the support of the building. An R-Panel Building is a metal building in which there is a framed support structure (often constructed of welded metal tubing) that serves as the main support for the building. There is then an R-panel attached to the exterior of the building to complete the building and provide the necessary aesthetics. The tube framing is designed to carry the loads of the buildings, including extreme snow loads, as well as wind loads.
